Burst Turrets rapidly shoot groups of bolts in intervals that do significant damage to bruisers. They appear as sniper towers, but you can't see the snipers themselfs. Although the in-game description states that they are "manned by groups of infantry," Burst Turrets do not need to be supplied with units in order function.

Strategy[]

Burst turrets work well against bruisers and to a limited extent against lighter vehicles. A combination of several Burst Turrets of equal level could take out an equally leveled (Elite) AT-AT. They also work well against bruisers and jump troopers.

Place them near rocket turrets because they cover the rocket turret's weakness.
